Site preparation and establishment stage 2

Oyu Tolgoi LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite all potential contractors to submit Expression of Interest for the Site Preparation and Establishment Stage 2.

The contractor will be responsible for the site preparation and the establishment of the shaft farm area around shaft #2. The shaft farm area is approximately 250,000 m2 and contains the infrastructure to support shaft #2, shaft #3 and shaft #5 including offices, mine dry, shaft heating, shaft access, underground ventilation systems as well as fuel and shotcrete facilities. The purpose of this scope is to prepare bulk earthworks and provide key services to each area and includes the following works:

1. Onshore Contractor mobilization
2. Bulk Earthworks
3. Pumps and Pipework Installation
4. Electrical Equipment and Cable Installation
5. Utilidor Ventilation System
6. Sewer System
7. Heating Distribution System

The Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work from a supplier or suppliers.

The Company stresses the importance of Mongolian participation in any contract(s) for this scope of work.

The potential suppliers must complete the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire as well as submit any of the requested supporting documentation.

Please submit your proposal comprising as a minimum a completed copy of the attached prequalification prepared in English to OTUGRFxBox@ot.mn (subject: HNL1-C-001B Site Preparation and Establishment Stage 2) before 5pm, (AEST) 23 November 2016.

Only soft copy materials from the Interested Parties are acceptable.

The Company reserves the right to refuse any document(s) which is incomplete or submitted after the specified date. The Company will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting an Expression of Interest to the Company. The Company will contact only the candidates who are qualified / shortlisted for the further process.

It is required for interested parties to complete registration process at http://oyutolgoi.achillesapac.com/en/, if not registered in “Oyu Tolgoi” company’s Master Supplier Database.

Note: Jacobs Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd (Jacobs) has been engaged the Company to undertake services in connection with the Project including engineering and procurement of certain packages. Jacobs will be undertaking the prequalification process on behalf of the Company.
