The opportunity
We are looking for One (1) Air Conditioning technician in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Site infrastracture and services- Mechanical maintenance Department based Oyu Tolgoi Site with 14 days on and 14 days off.
Maintain and execute maintenance activities as assigned by the Team leader and Supervisors in accordance with safety requirements, and ensure maintenance processes are consistently applied.
What the role entails:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and glycol heating equipment
- Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance according to HSESC requirements, following the relevant scheme, drawings, and standards. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
- Keeping daily logs and records of Freon leakage
What you will need for this role
- Post-secondary or equivalent education obtained through degrees, certificates (e.g., apprenticeship or trades certificate), or diplomas from academic or vocational training centers.
- At least 5 years of experience
- Relevant experience typically achieved through vocational training and equivalent practical experience or on-the-job training
