Supply of shaft 3 mine air heaters and fans

“Oyu Tolgoi” LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite all potential experienced suppliers to submit their Expression of Interest in relation to supply of “Shaft #3 Mine Air Heaters And Fans”.

The supplier will be required to carry out all of, but not limited to, the following works:

  • Design, manufacture and supply of Mine Air Heater facilities for Shaft 3 (Two heater modules).
  • Each heater module comprises:
    1. Heater plenum/house structure including filter sections, air heating coils & by-pass sections
    2. Hot water-to-Glycol heat transfer stations
    3. Electrical equipment including E-room, drives, MV fan motor, electric actuators and instrumentation
    4. Ducting to connect to shaft collar

The potential suppliers must submit the following documents:

  1. Company introduction / brochure;
  2. A Copy of Company/Supplier’s Registration certificate;
  3. Information of previous experiences of same service and Reference letters from its clients;
  4. Special licenses from the government competent authorities, if applicable;
  5. Introduction of qualified manpower/ key personnel
  6. Other required supporting documents.

The Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work/service from a supplier or suppliers.

Please submit your proposal prepared in English and/or Mongolian via OTUGRFxBox@ot.mn (subject: EOI number – EOI name) before 5pm, (Ulaanbaatar time) 06 February 2017.

The Company stresses the importance of Mongolian participation in any contract(s) for this scope of work.

The Company reserves the right to refuse any document(s) which is incomplete or submitted after the specified date. The Company will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting an Expression of Interest to the Company. “Oyu Tolgoi” company will contact only the candidates who are qualified /shortlisted for the further process.

It is required for interested parties to complete registration process at http://oyutolgoi.achillesapac.com/en/, if not registered in “Oyu Tolgoi” company’s Master Supplier Database.

Note: Jacobs Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd (Jacobs) has been contracted to provide engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services for underground development. Jacobs will manage the pre-qualification process on behalf of the Company.
