Invitation for Bid on Used Electric Cables

Oyu Tolgoi LLC would like to invite you to bid on used electrical cables specified in attachment 1. The starting price of the bid is 50,000,000 (Fifty million) MNT excluding VAT.

Before bidding, all interested companies and individuals are strongly advised to come to OT mine site to see and evaluate the used electric cables between January 23-27, 2017 during 9-17PM at below address. Please contact below person 1 day prior to arrival at Oyu Tolgoi site.

Bidding will be held on February 01, 2017 between 09:00-17:00 PM and a bidder has to fill out Bid Form in the attachment 2 (Please download excel form and fill out on computer) and send it to RFxBox@ot.mn email address. (Please do not use Yahoo email).

A bidder has to pay pre-payment of 100,000 MNT (One Hundred thousand) in order to qualify for the bid. The Pre-payment has to be transferred to the Company’s Khaan Bank account 5601001018 before 17:00 PM on February 01, 2017 and a copy of bank transfer slip has to be sent along with filled out Bid Form to above specified email address.

Additional Information:

• Make sure you bring your own personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel toe shoes, hard hat and glasses.
• Payment Purpose for bid pre-payment must include word “Electric Cable” followed by your registration number. For example if person B with registration number ЧЖ75101402 is paying pre-payment then the payment purpose should look “Electric Cable, ЧЖ75101402”.
• Any organization or individual who bid without making pre-payment will be disqualified.
• The pre-payments of bidders will be returned before February 10, 2017.
• Company or individual who bid highest will be contacted first on the phone.
• The bid winner has to pay the bid price before 04 February 2017 to claim the right to own the electric cables. If the bid winner fails to pay the bid price, the pre-payment will not be returned and be disqualified.
• The bid winner will be responsible for transportation of electric cables
