“Oyu Tolgoi” LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite potential experienced suppliers to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) in relation to “Supply and Associated Services for Hydraulic Hoses & Fittings”.
[An EOI is only a preliminary step to a
formal tender process to understand and identify whether there are
potential suppliers in the market that are interested in and capable of
satisfying the procurement needs]
The supplier will be required to carry out all of, but not limited to, the following work
Scope description:
In
order to support the successful operation and maintenance of HME fleet
and ancillary, support equipment at OT site, the company requires to
have qualified service provider for supply and assemble of hydraulic
hoses and fittings at OT site.
The potential suppliers will be required to supply following:
- Implementation of successful hose supply and assembly service at site.
- Build sufficient stock for required hoses and fittings at by vendor
- Set up capable hose assembling and testing equipment, workshop.
- Provide trained and skilled man power to provide satisfactory service.
- Stock and supply all required hydraulics hoses and fittings to support OT mobile and fixed equipment at Oyu Tolgoi mine site.
- High pressure hose crimping and testing machine capable of testing hoses up to 24,000 psi will be provided by supplier.
The potential suppliers shall meet following general requirements:
- To be a Mongolia registered entity.
- To have an experience of supplying and servicing high pressure hoses.
- All
hoses, fittings and hose assemblies are to be manufactured to an
appropriate international quality and standards with resulted hose
assemblies equalling or bettering OEM manufactured hoses.
Interested
and experienced suppliers are invited to submit their EOI and must
include/attach, as a minimum, the following documentations /
information:
Mandatory documents:
- State registration certificate (copy)*
- HSE policy & procedures (copy)*
- Business Code of Conduct (copy)*
- Financial statement from last 3 years (copy)*
- Brief introduction of company
- Ownership/ shareholder information
- Executive team structure/ introduction
- Organization structure & Total manpower
- Scope specific experience
- Company
introduction (including information of related experience and financial
capability, experience of personnel, capability, production and
warehouse facility) - Information of proposed hose, fittings and
Hose crimping and testing machines (brochure, technical data,
specifications, quality certificate, warranty statement, manufacturer
detail) - Distributor certificate of proposed hose and fittings.

Scope specific documents /mandatory/:
Any interested supplier who is not registered in “Oyu” Supplier Database must register at https://oyu-supplierdatabase.ot.mn/.
EOI submissions can be prepared in Mongolian or English and must be submitted via “Oyu” Supplier database before 5pm, (Ulaanbaatar time) 22 February 2021.
Important notice:
- The
Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers
and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work
from a supplier or suppliers. - The Company reserves the right to refuse any document(s) which is incomplete or submitted after the specified date & time.
- The Company will not accept any EOIs stored in internet storage or in any other webpages and links.
- The Company will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting an Expression of Interest to the Company.
- There will be no Questions and Answers provided during the EOI process.
