As per the Memorandum of Understanding between Oyu Tolgoi LLC and the Ministry of Education of Culture and Science in 2010, Oyu Tolgoi LLC has established scholarship programs for assisting in the education of Mongolian nationals for granting domestic and international scholarships for 5 years. We have successfully accomplished our commitment and are continuing the “OT Domestic scholarship” from 2016. The Oyu Tolgoi domestic scholarship program provides financial assistance and development opportunity to Mongolian students to support them obtain undergraduate degree in mining-related fields at Mongolian universities. Since 2010, 230 domestic scholarships have been granted.
