Press Statement – Vacancy application form

A month ago Oyu Tolgoi LLC received notice that some questions in its Vacancy Application Form were inappropriate, requiring applicants to divulge what was considered to be sensitive information. These questions were motivated by a requirement to provide ’full transparency‘ of information and not for any other reason.

Oyu Tolgoi LLC agreed that the questions were inappropriate and the questions have been removed from the Vacancy Application Form (a copy of which can be found at www.ot.mn).

Oyu Tolgoi LLC welcomes the raising of such concerns about company policy and procedure and in this instance will be communicating directly with the National Human Rights Commission.
