The opportunity
We are looking for one (1) Officer Warehouse in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Procurement Department based Oyu Tolgoi Site with 14 days on and 14 days off.
The purpose of this role is to provide services and support on warehouse activities of the organisational unit in large complex environment in line with the company policies and procedures to achieve the department’s objectives and targeted plan.
What the role entails:
- Receiving and Dispatching Goods: Overseeing the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Inventory Control: Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, conducting physical stock counts, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Stock Management: Ensuring proper storage, handling, and movement of goods to minimize damage, spoilage, and loss.
- Order Fulfillment: Preparing and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining up-to-date records of all warehouse transactions, including receipts, dispatches, and stock balances.
- Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organized, and well-maintained, with goods arranged for easy access.
- Adhering to and enforcing safety protocols within the warehouse, including proper handling of materials and equipment.
- Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders, such as transportation providers and customer service, to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Identifying and resolving issues that may arise, such as damaged goods, missing items, or delays in shipping.
- Identifying areas for improvement in warehouse operations and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Complete other tasks as directed.
What you will need for this role
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Procurement, Finance and Economics or other relevant discipline.
- At least 3 years of Operational Experience (Hands On) in a Warehousing relevant experience, or otherwise the significant practical experience and on the job training.
- Mongolian driver’s license with classifications of B, C, D and M
- Mongolian Certificate of operating a forklift
