Underground characterization and delineation drilling

“Oyu Tolgoi” LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite all potential experienced suppliers to submit their Expression of Interest in relation to “Underground Drilling Services”.

The scope of this EOI is to provide strategic drilling services for the Oyu Tolgoi underground project. The scope involves drilling services between 30,000 to 35,000 m per year for the next 3 to 5 years starting the latter part of 2017.

This includes grade control infill drilling, fringe drive definition drilling, cover drilling in both C2S and for Shaft4, and mass excavation infill drilling. These holes are anticipated to be drilled in HQ and NQ core diameters.

The potential Contractors must submit the following documents:

• Company introduction / brochure; capability statement.
• Information of previous experiences of comparable service, examples of previous projects with drilling experience as noted above.
• Sample of resumes of key individuals that may potentially be involved in the project both from a leadership, drilling experience of the same magnitude of works.

• Methodology of how the project would be approached.

The Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work/service from a supplier or suppliers.

The Company stresses the importance of Mongolian participation in any contract(s) for this scope of work.

The Company will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting an Expression of Interest to the Company. “Oyu Tolgoi” company will contact only the candidates who are qualified /shortlisted for the further process.
