They began working with Oyu Tolgoi in May 2013. The company supplies mining equipment, spare parts, auto parts, plumbing and pipes, heating components, special uniforms and tools.

They began working with Oyu Tolgoi in May 2013. The company supplies mining equipment, spare parts, auto parts, plumbing and pipes, heating components, special uniforms and tools.
Zest Express LLC manager G.Gan-Erdene says: “There are many advantages to working with Oyu Tolgoi. We have created three new positions– managers for international trade, sales and orders. Our sales revenue grew by some 40 percent and our employees’ skills and knowledge of international trade are growing steadily”.
The company has established regular relationships with online trading organisations, manufacturers and companies supplying foreign mining equipment. They also identified reliable and prompt international freight forwarders for use in their operations. Zest Express has expanded its operations establishing a presence in the largest international mining equipment markets such as the USA, Canada and China. They also work in partnership with large companies from Italy, Germany, Korea and France.
The company’s profits have grown, enabling increases in salaries and improvements to employee retention. The taxes they have paid to the state have also increased. Zest Express has had a great start and are now increasing their operations further. They have established warehouses to store goods and materials in Chicago and Beijing and Erlian as well as expecting to open a warehouse in Ulaanbaatar this year.
The company was named Oyu Tolgoi’s Supplier of the Month for October 2013.
