As per the “2022-2025 Collective Agreement” with our Trade Union, we agreed to commence the “Retirement Savings Fund” for our employees. Both Oyu Tolgoi LLC and our employees will be making contributions towards this fund. We started employer contribution on July 1st, 2022 and employee contribution begins in 2023.
Yesterday, we took a significant step forward by signing the “Retirement Savings Fund Service Agreement” with two well-established banks in Mongolia – Khan Bank and Xac Bank. With this, we officially kick-started the Retirement Savings Fund.
This program has been carefully crafted to provide our employees with long-term financial security. Starting from August 1, 2023, all employees of Oyu Tolgoi LLC will have the opportunity to enrol and save in their very own Retirement/Savings Fund.
