Umnugobi province Governor’s office, Agency for Labor Welfare services and Oyu Tolgoi LLC have succesfully organized an Open Day in Dalanzadgad. While opening the event, the Governor of Umnugobi aimag, N.Naranbaatar highlighted that Oyu Tolgoi LLC spent US$216 million in the year of 2018 on procurement from Umnugovi. During the event, the joint working group between the Umnugovi province and Oyu Tolgoi on employment signed its strategy for 2019-2021.
Representatives of Oyu tolgoi LLC departments, and 26 contractor companies introduced their business and operations, promoted the current vacancies and provided information on vocational training opportunities. Oyu Tolgoi LLC organized safety hologram trainings, a virtual tour in the Underground mine and an information session, where the visitors were informed of the open pit operations’ and environmental department’s milestones.
