SUPPLY OF CHUTE LINERS FOR MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT

“Oyu Tolgoi” LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite all potential experienced suppliers to submit their Expression of Interest in relation to supply of “Chute liners for material handling equipment”. (More details described in the Attachments to this announcement).

The supplier will be required to carry out all of, but not limited to, the following works:

• Supply of Chute liners, and it desired if chute is manufactured in Mongolia

The potential suppliers must submit the following documents:

• Company introduction / brochure
• Company Registration certificate
• Information for source of raw material, and its chemical composition and hardness
• Information of major manufacturing equipment, and manufacturing technology of chute liners
• Copy of Special licenses, if applicable
• Introduction of qualified manpower/ key personnel and organization chart
• HSE, QA/QC policy and plan

The Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work from a supplier or suppliers.

1. Scope of Supply

• • General Requirements
  • Bidder must have a capability to do technical drawings and design of chute liners with different pattern and size
  • Material specification for chute liners:
    • Liner material must to be at least ASTM A532M, ASTM A128A – abrasion resistant steel or equivalent to it for strength and abrasion resistance.
    • For some chute liners material specification must be Hardox500 or equivalent to it for strength and abrasion resistance
  • Bidder can provide Company liner material’s description.

Bidder must be capable to manufacture and supply different sized and shaped chute of various chutes in material handling equipment such as primary crusher apron feeder, pebble crusher return feeder and conveyor discharge etc.,.

2. Technical drawings of Chute Liners

There are over 700 different size and shape of chute liners used in Oyu Tolgoi Mine. For information, here in attached technical drawings for some commonly used chute liners.
