“Oyu Tolgoi” LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite all potential experienced Suppliers to submit their Expression of Interest in relation to supply service of “Inbound Freight Forwarding Service from Ganqimaodu border, China to Company Mine Site in Khanbogd Soum, Umnugobi aimag, Mongolia”.
The supplier will be required to carry out all of, but not limited to, the following works:
General Scope
- Transportation of materials and equipment from Customs bonded terminal in Ganqimaodu to Company Mine Site through Ganqimaodu and Gashuun Sukhait bilateral borders
- The materials and equipment requiring transportation are originated from China and/or from 3rd countries transiting through China.
- Export and/or transit Customs Brokerage service from Ganqimaodu border to Mongolia and import Customs Brokerage service into Mongolia at Gashuun Sukhait border and/or Company Mine Site
- Provide suitable transport equipment with different payload capacity for various size of mine equipment and goods
- 1 ton payload
- 5 tons payload
- 10 tons payload
- 20 tons payload
- 40 tons payload
- Provide professional drivers and operation management staff for smooth transport and customs clearance procedure through the bilateral border
- In compliance with applicable laws and standards to operate through the bilateral borders
- In compliance with the Company Health, Safety and Environmental policy and procedures at all times
The potential suppliers must submit the following documents:
- Company Registration and VAT certificate copies
- Applicable special license copies for
- Customs Brokerage and Customs Bonded transportation through bilateral borders
- International Freight Forwarding permission
- Any other licenses and permission as relevant
- Company Charter copy & ownership information
- Financial audit copies for last 3 years (2013, 2014 and 2015)
- Introduction of:
- Organization chart including total number of employees
- Qualified manpower / key personnel
- Previous experiences on Freight Forwarding service operating through the Ganqimaodu and Gashuun Sukhaid bilateral borders
- Reference letters from Customers
The Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work from a supplier or suppliers.
