Supply of underground flexible duct

“Oyu Tolgoi” LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite all potential experienced suppliers to submit their Expression of Interest in relation to supply of “Underground Ventilation Flexible Duct”.

The supplier will be required to carry out all of, but not limited to, the following works:

  • Supply of Ventilation Flexible Ducting
  • Commit to developing local manufacturing in South Gobi region
  • Supply Ventilation of Flexible Ducting through a local South Gobi delivery facility
  • Quality product assurance
  • Supply stability
  • Supplier managed stock
  • Demonstrate and practice health, safety and environment procedures and standards

The potential suppliers must submit the following documents:

  1. Supplier introduction (less than 5 pages)
  2. Copy of company registration certificate including copy of company charter
  3. Company organization/ ownership structure information including all major shareholders and percentage of ownership
  4. Special licenses, where applicable
  5. Key existing and past customers of underground ventilation flexible ducting (copy of references/ evidence)
  6. If Supplier is not manufacturer, experience of the supplying ventilation ducts or similar products (References or Evidence)
  7. Identity the options for local manufacturing
  8. If supplier is a manufacturer, factory information (production capacity, actual production)
  9. Supplier’s financial statement (last 3 years)
  10. Product catalog – type of products available specifically for UG ventilation
  11. HSE policy, procedure and plan
  12. QA/QC policy, procedure and plan
  13. Information for ability to provide continuous improvement
  14. Commitment to develop Local capability

Note: The Company will require any potential Suppliers who will be shortlisted in this “Expression of Interest” to be either a registered entity in Mongolia or who will be willing to commit to establish a Mongolian registered business or appointing a Mongolian agent.

The Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work from a supplier or suppliers.

Please submit your proposal prepared in English and/or Mongolian via OTUGRFxBox@ot.mn (subject: HNL1-M-1327–manufacture and supply of “Underground Ventilation Flexible Duct”) before 5pm, (Ulaanbaatar time) 15 August 2016.

The Company reserves the right to refuse any document(s) which is incomplete or submitted after the specified date. The Company will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting an Expression of Interest to the Company. “Oyu Tolgoi” company will contact only the candidates who are qualified/shortlisted for the further process.

It is required for interested parties to complete registration process at http://oyutolgoi.achillesapac.com/en/, if not registered in “Oyu Tolgoi” company’s Master Supplier Database.
