Supply of underground drilling consumables

“Oyu Tolgoi” LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite all potential experienced suppliers to submit their Expression of Interest in relation to supply of “Underground Drilling consumables”.

The supplier will be required to carry out all of, but not limited to, the following works:

  1. Supply and management of all Underground Drilling consumables.
  2. Provision of re-sharpening and drill straightening service

The potential suppliers must submit the following documents:

  1. Supplier introduction (less than 5 pages)
  2. Business registration document and ownership structure including all major shareholders and percentage of ownership
  3. Special licenses, where applicable
  4. Key customers of underground hard rock drilling consumables (References or Evidence)
  5. If Supplier is not manufacturer, experience of the supplying drilling consumables or similar products (References or Evidence)
  6. Factory information (production capacity, actual production)
  7. Supplier’s financial statement (last 3 years)
  8. Product catalog
  9. HSE policy, procedure and plan
  10. QA/QC policy, procedure and plan
  11. Information for ability to provide continuous improvement
  12. Commitment to develop Local capability

Note: The Company will require any potential Suppliers who will be shortlisted in this “Expression of Interest” to be either a registered entity in Mongolia or who will be willing to commit to establish a Mongolian registered business or appointing a Mongolian agent.

The Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work from a supplier or suppliers.

The Company reserves the right to refuse any document(s) which is incomplete or submitted after the specified date. The Company will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting an Expression of Interest to the Company. “Oyu Tolgoi” company will contact only the candidates who are qualified/shortlisted for the further process.

It is required for interested parties to complete registration process at http://oyutolgoi.achillesapac.com/en/, if not registered in “Oyu Tolgoi” company’s Master Supplier Database.
