Onshore Logistics Services – OT UG Project Mongolia Customs Brokerage & Mongolia Origin Suppliers

Oyu Tolgoi LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite all potential suppliers to submit Expression of Interest to provide Onshore Logistics Services – OT UG Project China Transit Cargoes & China Origin Suppliers

The Service provider will be required to carry out all of, but not limited to, the following works:

1. Receipt of air cargo at UB airport, and road freight from local Mongolia origin supplier’s factories and warehouses, for consolidated trucking up to OT job site for in-gauge loads.
2. Coordination of Mongolia customs clearance, and arrangement of quarantine inspections as required
3. HS coding and translation of shipping documentation, preparation of customs declarations, and forecasting of concessionary-rate customs duty payments.
4. Preparation/coordination of Mongolia road permits/licenses, and road shipping documentation
5. Local warehousing in UB, and consolidation of cargoes

Required resource personnel are:

1. Have affiliate offices and/or agents in Ulan Baatar, Oyu Tolgoi and China-Mongolia border to coordinate the work. Preference will be given to Enterprises who can maximize Mongolian content, including contracting and managing invoicing via a local Mongolian entity.
2. Ability to prepare shipping and invoicing documentation, and perform contract administration in English
3. Personnel proficient in English, Mongolian and Mandarin Chinese
4. Working experience in holding weekly teleconferences, kickoff meetings, progress meetings, risk assessments, toolbox talks, safety shares, and lessons learned with EPC & mining industry clientele
5. Certification and permits to perform Mongolia customs clearance, phytosanitary/quarantine inspections, and arrange domestic road freight
6. Reference from previous project clients for this particular type of service

The Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work from a supplier or suppliers.

The Company reserves the right to refuse any document(s) which is incomplete or submitted after the specified date. The Company will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting an Expression of Interest to the Company. “Oyu Tolgoi” company will contact only the candidates who are qualified / shortlisted for the further process.
