Oyu Tolgoi LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite all potential contractors to submit Expression of Interest for the Design and Construction of NPI1 – Permanent Mine Dry, Offices, and Control Room Facility.
The contractor will design and construct the Permanent Mine Dry, Offices, And Control Room Facility. The facility is a permanent two storey building with a total gross floor area (GFA) of approximately 13,700m2 that will be installed at the Oyu Tolgoi mine site. The ground floor incorporates changing rooms, wash facilities and plant for supply of building services and has a GFA of 8, 460 m2. The first floor has a GFA of 5,240m2 and incorporates offices, meeting rooms, a control room and an area for computer workstations. For a brief description of the scope associated with the facility please refer to the attached document and drawings referred therein.
The Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work from a supplier or suppliers.
The Company stresses the importance of Mongolian participation in any contract(s) for this scope of work. To this end international contractors are encouraged to consider and provide details of the opportunities for participation by Mongolian contractors eg as joint venture partners, subconsultants or subcontractors. Similarly if Mongolian contractors do not believe that they have sufficient capability for a component of the scope eg elements of the design of the facility, Mongolian contractors should consider joint venturing with or engaging international contractors or consultants to provide the necessary support.

Only soft copy materials from the Interested Parties are acceptable.
The Company reserves the right to refuse any document(s) which is incomplete or submitted after the specified date. The Company will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting an Expression of Interest to the Company. The Company will contact only the candidates who are qualified / shortlisted for the further process.
It is required for interested parties to complete registration process at http://oyutolgoi.achillesapac.com/en/, if not registered in “Oyu Tolgoi” company’s Master Supplier Database.
Note: Jacobs Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd (Jacobs) has been engaged the Company to undertake services in connection with the Project including engineering and procurement of certain packages. Jacobs will be undertake the prequalification process on behalf of the Company.
