Design and Construction of Batch Plant #4 Hard Infrastructure

Oyu Tolgoi LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite all potential contractors to submit Expression of Interest for the Design and Construction of Batch Plant #4 Hard Infrastructure.

The Contractor will design, construct and commission a hard infrastructure to support minimum of twin 60m³/hr concrete mixing plants. The Hard Infrastructure will include but not limited to:

1. storage and loading facilities for cement;
2. winterised storage and loading facilities for aggregate;
3. winterized storage and loading facilities for admixtures;
4. winterised slump pad;
5. winterised storage facility for agitator trucks;
6. maintenance workshop;
7. office building and control room;
8. chillers and boilers and water distribution system to the mixing plants; and
9. HVAC system for the batch plant

The Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work from a supplier or suppliers.

The Company stresses the importance of Mongolian participation in any contract(s) for this scope of work.

Please submit your proposal comprising as a completed copy of the attached prequalification prepared in English to otugrfxbox@ot.mn (subject: CW2101226 – Design and Construction of Batch Plant #4 Hard Infrastructure) before 5pm, (Ulaanbaatar) 07 September 2016.

Only soft copy materials from the Interested Parties are acceptable.

The Company reserves the right to refuse any document(s) which is incomplete or submitted after the specified date. The Company will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting an Expression of Interest to the Company. The Company will contact only the candidates who are qualified / shortlisted for the further process.

It is required for interested parties to complete registration process at http://oyutolgoi.achillesapac.com/en/, if not registered in “Oyu Tolgoi” company’s Master Supplier Database.

Note: Jacobs Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd (Jacobs) has been contracted to provide engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services for underground development. Jacobs will manage the pre-qualification process on behalf of the Company.
