Batch Plant #4 Operation and Maintenance

Oyu Tolgoi LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite all potential contractors to submit Expression of Operation and Maintenance Works for Batch Plant #4 (BP#4)

In general the Contractor would be responsible for, but not limited to the following works:

1. design and supply fully automated twin mixing plants, completed with control systems;
2. install and connect mixing plants to the batch plant infrastructure provided;
3. commission, operate and maintain the batch plant;
4. design, supply, install, commission and operate crushing plant;
5. supply cement, fibre and admixtures to produce ready mix concrete and shotcrete as per project specifications;
6. operate and maintain facilities for receiving, storing, handling, and proportioning materials required to produce concrete;
7. maintain existing Batch Plant #3 and operate when required;
8. supply, operate and maintain concrete agitator trucks to transport concrete to meet the demand rate;
9. supply and crush aggregate, sand and structural fill material;
10. deliver concrete in appropriate transporting vehicles to various areas of the OT Site;
11. testing of aggregate material from nominated stockpiles; testing of water to be added to the concrete mix; and
12. concrete tests including compressive tests of moulded concrete cylinders, slump, shrinkage, unit weight, air content (where air entrainment is required) and fresh concrete temperature.

The Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work from a supplier or suppliers.

The Company stresses the importance of Mongolian participation in any contract(s) for this scope of work.

Please submit your proposal comprising as a completed copy of the attached prequalification prepared in English to otugrfxbox@ot.mn (subject: CW2099529– Batch Plant #4 Operation and Maintenance) before 5pm, (Ulaanbaatar) 26 September 2016.

Only soft copy materials from the Interested Parties are acceptable.

The Company reserves the right to refuse any document(s) which is incomplete or submitted after the specified date. The Company will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting an Expression of Interest to the Company. The Company will contact only the candidates who are qualified / shortlisted for the further process.

It is required for interested parties to complete registration process at http://oyutolgoi.achillesapac.com/en/, if not registered in “Oyu Tolgoi” company’s Master Supplier Database.

Note: Jacobs Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd (Jacobs) has been contracted to provide engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services for underground development. Jacobs will manage the pre-qualification process on behalf of the Company.
