Supply of concrete and shotcret

Oyu Tolgoi LLC (the ‘Company‘) would like to invite all potential contractors to submit tenders for the supply of concrete and shotcrete for Oyu Tolgoi Underground Project

In general the Contractor would be responsible for, but not limited to the following works (the ‘Scope of Works’):

• Design, supply, construct and commission a new all seasons batch plant and associated surface infrastructure
• Operate and maintain the batch plants
• Supply cement, fibre, admixtures, aggregate and sand to produce ready mix concrete and shotcrete
• Supply ready-mix concrete and shotcrete

Potential tenderers should note the following requirements and timeline in relation to this tender:

• Potential tenderers may request a copy of the Invitation To Tender documentation(ITT) by submitting a request on or before 5.00pm Ulaanbaatar time on 18 October 2016. A link will be provided to a file transfer protocol website from where the ITT may be downloaded.
• Tenders must confirm their intention to submit a tender by returning a completed copy of the attached Tender Acknowledgement Form by 21 October 2016.
• A pre-bid meeting will be held for tenderers on 25 October 2016. Details of time and location will be provided to tenderers who have submitted a completed Tender Acknowledgement Form.
• A Site tour will be held for tenderers on 28 October 2016. Details of time and location will be provided to tenderers who have submitted a Tender Acknowledgement Form.
• Tender will close at 5.00pm (Ulaanbaatar time) on 8 November 2016. Digital submissions must be received by that time with hardcopies to follow within 2 days.

All digital submissions must be sent to otugrfxbox@ot.mn with subject of CW2099527–Supply of Concrete and Shotcrete.

The Company stresses the importance of Mongolian participation in any contract(s) for this scope of work.

The Company reserves the right to refuse any document(s) which are incomplete or submitted after the specified date. The Company will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting a Tender to the Company. The Company will contact only the candidates who are qualified / shortlisted for the further process.

It is required for interested parties to complete registration process at http://oyutolgoi.achillesapac.com/en/ , if not already registered in “Oyu Tolgoi” company’s Master Supplier Database.

Note: Jacobs Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd (Jacobs) has been contracted to provide engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services for underground development. Jacobs will manage the tender evaluation process on behalf of the Company.
