MonHorus International LLC has been cooperating with Oyu Tolgoi since 2005 and it supplies variety of power generation equipment and its related services such as generators for mining operations, cable illuminator imported from Germany and Poland.
Since the company started cooperation with Oyu Tolgoi, skill of its employees has improved and they have gained a great deal of experience thanks to which they have become one of the best suppliers of Oyu Tolgoi.
“We have created a new group which is in charge of mining product matters. The purpose of initiating such division is to supply goods in a timely manner and to be knowledgeable about goods and products we supply” says G.Ganpurev, Marketing Manager of MonHorus International LLC.
It is an example of how companies expand their business aligning to the rapid development of the mining sector in Mongolia. MonHorus International LLC, joint company of Mongolia and Poland was established in 1997 and it has engaged in supplying power supply equipment such as generator, and provides its related services, including assembling, installation, maintenance, rental and supply of spare parts among others. The company also sells diesel generator, invariable current generator, renewable energy generator and construction energy supplier and installation. The business was new to Mongolia when it first started since then they have tried to bring new technologies to the country and thereby contributed to the development of the local energy and construction sectors.
