~Participation of volunteers is important in ensuring safety and health~
Mongolian mining company Oyu Tolgoi prioritizes safety and heath of its employees.One of the many initiatives and projects launched by Oyu Tolgoi is enlisting Safety, Health, Environmental volunteer staff.
Goal of this initiative is caring about health and safety of employees through their own participation. In another word, this demonstrates that contribution, participation and responsibility of each employee of Oyu Tolgoi is very important in ensuring overall health, safety operation of the company.
Currently, about 100 employees have been enlisted as the volunteer staff and promotes safety, health culture and information sharing among the all employees of the company. Each floor of UB headquarters of Oyu Tolgoi is manned by volunteer staff in charge of safety evaluator, safety coordinator, safety information officer, volunteer first-aid providers and fire personnel.
This way, Oyu Tolgoi employees are enlisted as safety, health volunteers and contributes to overall health and safety operation of the mining company. This demonstrates commitment of Oyu Tolgoi in ensuring reliability of safety and health operations and keeping zero-accident environment in the work places and corporate responsibility of the company.
