Petrovis Oil Company has been working in the market for 10th year and is an official distributor of ‘Mobil’ brand products of the leading US petroleum company ‘Exxon-Mobil’. They import all types of oil, lubricants and special purpose liquids manufactured in the Russian Federation. The company sells its products through network of 400 gas stations and minimarkets throughout Mongolia and has tank reservoirs with capacity to store 1,200 tonnes of oil and lubricants and an accredited quality laboratory for oil products. This company not only works with Oyu Tolgoi, but also with large businesses such as Leighton Mining, Energy Resources, Baganuur coal mine, Mongolrostvetmet, MAK, Ulaanbaatar Railway station, Civil Aviation authority.
G.Munkhuyag, staff of the national procurement team of Oyu Tolgoi Procurement, said “In selection of best suppliers, we consider many criteria such as how long the suppliers have been supplying the products and services and quality of products and services, packaging etc. Being selected as best supplier of month allows the suppliers to promote their companies to the public and participate in competition for the suppler of year award”.
