Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia – It seems like everyone is using social networks – especially Facebook. According to Facebook statistics, there are over 400,000 Facebook users in Mongolia. Oyu Tolgoi, in particular, have a very popular Facebook page, recently welcoming our 50 thousandth ‘like’.
Celebrating this milestone and as part of their transparency initiative, Oyu Tolgoi have announced the 'Visit Oyu Tolgoi site' competition. You could win a trip to visit the project site at Oyu Tolgoi and a tour of the impressive facilities. To enter the competition simply visit the Oyu Tolgoi Facebook page and write a couple of sentences explaining why you want to visit the mine site. The five participants to collect the most amount of ‘Likes’ will visit the Oyu Tolgoi project site, Demchig Monastery and the nearby spiritual energy center.
