'Buyant Galba' LLC was established about a year ago and provides dry-cleaning and laundry services in the Khanbogd soum center. The company has since decided to expand its business and tendered to become the contractor for cleaning and services at Oyu Tolgoi’s Khanbumbat airport. The company won the tender and began work this February.
This service was a new business area for the local company. Therefore, it enrolled its personnel in Ulaanbaatar and at the Oyu Tolgoi mine training courses. This included coffee making and the operation of relevant equipment as well as safety.
As a result, the company is serving tasty coffee which meets requirements and brings pleasure to many international and national customers while fulfilling its obligations safely and reliably.
When they started working with Oyu Tolgoi, the company had only two employees. Today, they have 23 and have created permanent jobs and sources of income for local residents. Recently, the company became a VAT payer after expanding its operations and further contributing to local development.
