Volp Power Company is an official representative of the globally renowned Swedish company 'Volvo Penta'. Volvo Penta is a global company with a history spanning some 100 years, supplying electric and diesel engines and complete power systems for industrial applications and mining industry. Volp Power company supplies, rents and sells electric generators and engines, spare parts, oil and lubrication materials and coolants manufactured by Volvo Penta. The electric generators are used for water irrigation systems, warehouses and cranes and hauling tractors and ship engines.
Today, three teams led by four professional engineers ensure the continuous operation of the mine with backup electric generators. The qualified engineering technical team, trained in Volvo Penta centres in Sweden and Shanghai, conducts regular and on-demand repair and maintenance services at Oyu Tolgoi site.

He noted that Oyu Tolgoi has introduced the latest environmentally friendly diesel trucks which are a very positive sign. Volp Power now plans to build a warehouse in Khanbogd soum of South Gobi province.
Volp Power LLC was selected as Oyu Tolgoi’s supplier of month in May, 2013 on the basis of its excellent performance.
