The opportunity
We are looking for one ( 1) Technician Condition Monitoring in Oyu Tolgoi Underground Mobile Maintenance Department based at Oyu Tolgoi mine site with roster of 14 days on and 14 days off.
The purpose of this role is to provide services in accordance with company policies and regulations and to support the operations of organizational units to achieve the team’s goals and objectives.
What the role entails
- Perform and condition monitoring inspection on the required equipment and components.
- Collecting Diesel engine emissions data using specialty exhaust measuring tooling
- Collecting operator’s cabin integrity data using ultrasonic leak detection tooling
- Following all relevant rules, regulations and procedures relating to OT UG Mobile Equipment Maintenance.
- Raising notifications for repair and investigative actions in the OT CMMS (SAP).
- Understanding of tools and technologies
- Escalation of any safety concerns to supervisor.
What you will need for this role
- Secondary or equivalent education obtained through degrees, certificates or diplomas from academic or vocational high school trainings.
- Vocational training in a mechanical trade (e.g. Mechanic, Metalworker, Welder or similar). To have personally demonstrate a positive attitude towards working safely.
- Heavy mobile vehicle repair qualification.
- Able to carry out administrative functions commensurate with the role.
- Able to carry out condition monitoring tools and operate properly and carefully.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
