The opportunity
We are looking for One (1) Technician Asset Health in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Underground Fixed Plant Maintenance Department based Oyu Tolgoi Site with 14 days on and 14 days off.
The purpose of this role is to provide technical services and support condition monitoring activities of the organisational unit in line with the company policies and procedures to achieve the team’s objectives and targeted plan.
What the role entails:
- Primary Functions of the Condition Monitoring Technician are following:
- Personally demonstrate a positive attitude towards working safely.
- Perform NDT and condition monitoring inspection on the required equipment and components
- Carry out Condition Monitoring activities of the plants and mobile equipment in field using relevant on-line and off-line data acquisition techniques and data analysis
- Reports any major changes in equipment condition to direct supervisor
- Actively participates in Reliability improvement programs (Defect elimination projects) and Root Cause Failure Analysis process of equipment as per requirement which is including the inspection in field.
- Performs the job as per company established HSE procedures / guidelines.
What you will need for this role
- Secondary or equivalent education obtained through degrees, certificates or diplomas from academic or vocational high school trainings.
- Able to carry out administrative functions commensurate with the role.
- Intermediate computer skills including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Office suite
- Ability to work in team
- Good communication skills in both Mongolian and English
