The opportunity
We are looking for one (1) Technician Air Conditioning in Oyu Tolgoi Mechanical Maintenance Department based at Oyu Tolgoi mine site with roster of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
Maintain and execute maintenance activities as per assigned by Team leader and Supervisors in safety requirements & ensuring maintenance processes are consistently applied.
What the role entails
- Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions, create report
- Keeping daily logs and records of Ferron leakage, create report
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Complying with service standards, work instructions, SWP’s and meets customers’ requirements and take actions promptly
- Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Conduct planned and unplanned inspections works as per schedule
- Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to conduct the job and determine dimensions and materials required
- Work in Shutdown works as required
What you will need for this role
- Post-secondary or equivalent education obtained through degrees, certificates (e.g. apprenticeship or trades certificate) or diplomas from academic or vocational training centres.
- Relevant 5 years experience typically achieved through vocational trainings and equivalent practical experience or on-the-job training.[1]
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on HVAC equipment
- Strong leadership and team working abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple issues simultaneously.
