The opportunity

We are looking for One (1) Student Intern in Oyu Tolgoi LLCUnderground Project – Human Resources Department based Ulaanbaatar Office with 5 days on and 2 days off. 3 months internship programme.

This internship programme is intended for high-performing students who wants to understand how world class mining business operates while gaining a first-hand experience of corporate culture. Interning for the Education Support team will provide great exposure to internal activities in one of the most dynamic and best performing units in the business. This opportunity will also enable the intern student to develop their interpersonal skills, teamwork and potentially help them to discover their career pathways and future aspirations.

What the role entails:

  • Enter training participant data and qualification results in the LMS (learning management system)
  • Ensure training records are accurately and timely recorded
  • Develop structured documentation system for the training folders (hard & soft copies) following chain of custody protocols
  • Contribute to establish procedures about the classification and the use of the training material
  • Support the training members team to identify correctly all the training documents
  • Supporting processes for the on-going alignment of the OT Training objectives with the changing business needs within the dynamic OT environment.
  • Managing own career by being accountable for one’s behavior and development.
  • Managing individual performance to achieve individual and organization results.
  • Support training team members to use the LMS and training documents.
  • Assist in training for new trainers and administrators in terms of LMS functionality, data entry and report generation
  • Scan certificates necessary for the UG team and place into respective folders
  • Print out and prepare necessary training materials and equipment licenses to operators
  • Print out the training schedule on daily basis and ensure to update on the respective information boards and screens
  • Inform to administrators of any maintenance or IT work
  • Be responsible for office supplies
  • Support the scheduling process and assist with scheduling and coordination

What you will need for this role

  • Third-year or above bachelor’s students majoring in Business Management, HSE, Labor Hygiene, or Human Resources with a GPA of 3.2 or higher are eligible
