The opportunity

We are looking for two (2) Student Intern in Oyu Tolgoi LLC, Legal department based in Ulaanbaatar office for 3 months internship programme.

This internship programme is intended for high-performing students who wants to understand how world class mining business operates while gaining a first-hand experience of corporate culture. Interning for the Education Support team will provide great exposure to internal activities in one of the most dynamic and best performing units in the business. This opportunity will also enable the intern student to develop their interpersonal skills, teamwork and potentially help them to discover their career pathways and future aspirations.

What the role entails 

  • Assist lawyers conduct legal research and draft legal opinion.
  • Collect information that is required for legal research and opinion.
  • Provide lawyers update about new law and regulations.
  • Improve legal team’s library and maintain as required.
  • Conduct legal research in relation contracts and collect, review and archive data.
  • Support on translation of contracts.
  • Drafting letters, correspondences.

What you will need for this role

  • Must be a Mongolian citizen.
  • Must be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s program in a law university in Mongolia and expect to be a 4th or 5th-year student at a law university.
  • GPA must be 3.2 or higher (on 4.0 scale).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Good verbal and written skills in English will be advantage
