The opportunity
We are looking for One (1) Senior Planner Long Term Maintenance in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Underground Fixed Plant Maintenance Department based Oyu Tolgoi Site with 14 days on and 14 days off.
The purpose of this role is to provide services and support on maintenance activities of the organisational unit in line with the company policies and procedures to achieve the team’s objectives and targeted plan.
What the role entails:
- Behaviours consistent with zero tolerance, leads by example with colleagues, team members & business partners & acts in accordance with relevant HSE policies & objectives.
- Develops & manages the maintenance & operates plan that minimizes cost while achieves goals for availability & reliability.
- Ensures Total System Capacity has maximum utilization, with sufficient plans horizon to allow opportunity for continuous improvement or a step change.
- Monitor implemented plant register, task lists, bill of materials as part of the maintenance management system (SAP).
- Create, maintain & improve the quality of the Zero-Based Budgets within the business solution.
- Review and develop maintenance tactics and whole of life (WoL) strategies for assets.
- Ensure the Work Management and Shutdown Management Processes are effective and are supported by effective coordination and communication meetings.
- Be able to drive improvements if KPI’s are low.
- Work closely with reporting functions to analyses performance issues and ensure to address them in the future execution planning process for gap closure and mitigation.
- Assist in engineering data collection and analysis.
- Ensure that parts, equipment, materials, and tooling are receipted and allocated to the correct job before work is placed on the daily work schedule or shutdown schedule.
- Audit & review system Master Data, to maintain system integrity.
What you will need for this role
- Bachelor or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.
- Maintenance Engineering or relevant discipline is preferable.
- Relevant experience typically achieved through vocational trainings and equivalent practical experience or on-the-job training.
- Experience with Fixed plant equipment maintenance planning
- Able to use & create variety of documents & templates & effectively perform daily Word, Excel & PowerPoint processing tasks, such as, producing routine letters, memorandums, tracking sheet, preparing meeting agenda, session presentation, etc.
- Developed English language verbal and written skills will be well regarded
