The opportunity
We are looking for two (2) Senior Engineer Automation Ventilation in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Underground Electrical & Instrumentation Department based Oyu Tolgoi Site with 14 days on and 14 days off.
The purpose of this role is to support ensuring the optimization and reliability of assets, conducting analysis of reliability problems, and investigating to determine the required reliability for the particular situation.
What the role entails:
- Performs basic Interpretation of data in accordance with set parameters to determine potential asset defects & escalate accordingly.
- Prepares asset condition & performance information to support maintenance decisions.
- Manages & supervises trade employees in maintenance activities.
- Allocates maintenance coverage for breakdowns.
- Provide assistance to Engineers and technicians in all forms of the job required if and when required.
- Resolves on the job issues (with regards to planned maintenance activities, maintenance shutdowns, etc.)
- Monitors work practices & adherence to safety procedures to ensure safety of employees working in the area.
- Interface with the Planning Group to coordinate any scheduled work.
- Creation of MOC documents and executing the project by self or with 3rd party persons.
- Responcible for Functional Safety proof testing procedures and timely execution thereof.
- Improoving on current control PLC code and prosess.
- Actively participate in readiness improvement projects with the assistance of senior engineers and specialists.
What you will need for this role
- Maintenance Engineers or relevant discipline is preferable. Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.
- At least 3 years relevant experience, or otherwise the significant practical experience and on the job training.
- License for an Electrical or Instrumentation trade certification.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on challenges.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Office suite
- Good communication skills in both Mongolian and English.
