The opportunity

We are looking for One (1)  Principal Advisor Transformation in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Business Transformation & Integration Department based in the Ulaanbaatar Office with 5 days on and 2 days off.

The role is to lead and support the delivery of complex, business-wide transformation initiatives that drive fundamental shifts in operating models, organizational design, and value delivery through structured, time-bound programs and effective change management.

What the role entails:

  • Lead the design and execution of complex, business-wide transformation projects impacting multiple functions and/or operations.
  • Drive large-scale operational model redesigns to align with evolving business strategies and market conditions.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of transformational changes to support organizational efficiency and sustainability.
  • Provide expert change management support for major transformation programs, ensuring successful adoption and minimal business disruption.
  • Design and embed change management frameworks tailored for enterprise-level transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of transformation efforts with strategic objectives.
  • Track, measure, and report on transformation program outcomes, ensuring delivery against key milestones, timelines, and KPIs.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders on transformation opportunities, risks, and best practices.
  • Support wide transformation initiatives by aligning people, processes, and systems with future-state vision.

What you will need for this role

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in relevant fields such as data analysis, engineering, mining, or heavy industry. Preferably 3 years of experience in operational roles.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives and deliver results in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead teams effectively.
