The opportunity

We are looking for two (2)  Planner Shutdown in Oyu Tolgoi LLCUnderground Fixed Plant Maintenance Department based Oyu Tolgoi Site with 14 days on and 14 days off.

The purpose of this role is to provide services and support on maintenance activities of the organisational unit in line with the company policies and procedures to achieve the team’s objectives and targeted plan.

What the role entails:

  • Assist in developing a safety culture whilst ensuring that all work undertaken in areas of responsibility comply with existing safety legislation and is in full compliance with applicable HSE standards.
  • Responsible for developing and implement plan register, task lists, bill of materials as part of the maintenance management system (SAP).
  • Responsible to create and maintain parts list (BOMs) for all equipment.
  • Responsible to order all materials needed to execute maintenance work in area of responsibility and verify that the parts are correct and onsite.
  • Discuss the quality of planned work with execution team and leaders, and regularly check and inspect work performance on the job site.
  • Optimize and maintain maintenance strategies/tactics in the form of maintenance plans.
  • Responsible to maintain coding in SAP to ensure an accurate equipment history.
  • Responsible to facilitate various meetings. Usually, to improve the plan following execution of the work.
  • Have a good understanding of what the Work Management KPIs mean and how they are calculated.
  • Responsible to drive improvements if KPI’s are low.

 What you will need for this role

  • Maintenance Engineers or relevant qualification is preferable. Bachelor in engineering or equivalent education obtained through degrees, certificates or diplomas from colleges or universities.
  • Experience with Fixed plant shutdown
  • 3 years’ experience in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as SAP.
  • Proficiency in English – both orally and in written form
  • Data analytical skills is preferable.
