The opportunity
We are looking for 4 (four) Parts Controller in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Underground mobile Maintenance Department based Oyu Tolgoi Site with 14 days on and 14 days off.
The purpose of this role is to provide services and support on maintenance activities of the organisational unit in line with the company policies and procedures to achieve the team’s objectives and targeted plan.
What the role entails:
- Assist in developing a safety culture whilst ensuring that all work undertaken in areas of responsibility comply with existing safety legislation and is in full compliance with applicable HSE standards.
- Maintains the highest standard of health & safety performance by implements a personal safety plan, exhibits behaviors consistent with zero tolerance, leads by example with colleagues, team members & business partners & acts in accordance with relevant HSE policies & objectives.
- Ensure safety standards, processes and procedures are in place and adhered to for the during construction phase and into Operations
- Ensure the safety of all fellow team members and that risks are identified, mitigated, and managed
- Support the CRM program within the Plans group & the business in general.
- Prepare maintenance weekly parts and components, inform unavailable parts to planners to seek to reduce gap.
- Maintain received materials integrity and proper storage.
- Organize and coordinate tire and following tire management process.
- Ensure component rotable process followed and seek improvement.
- Deliver oil samples, return parts, repairable parts, and shutdown parts to warehouse, urgent required parts to maintenance work group.
- Prevent squirrel stock, seek for continuous improvement.
- Track and expedite purchasing orders.
- Utilize the Component Tracking module in SAP to track history on critical components
- Maintain integrity and 5S of maintenance store and laydown yard.
- Waste management process is followed to remove waste oil, packaging material, used parts, and tire.
- In conjunction with Maintenance Planners, Shutdown Planners and Scheduler, prepare parts and components for 1 to 4 week.
- Keep awareness on Procurement, Maintenance department and its process changes and updates.
- Tracking materials needed to execute maintenance work in area of responsibility and verify that the parts are correct and onsite.
- Conduct regular field audits to observe the execution and discuss the quality of the plans with tradesmen & Supervisors.
- Supporting business required task.
What you will need for this role
- Technical degree or eqiuvalent education. Secondary or equivalent education obtained through degrees, certificates or diplomas from academic or vocational high school trainings.
- Relevant experience typically achieved through vocational trainings and equivalent practical experience or on-the-job training 1-2 year experience with relevant occupation.
- Experience in Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as SAP and
- B,C class driving licence is desirable
- Basic English level
- High Abiity to work in a team
