The opportunity
We are looking for two (2) Officers Emergency Response Team in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – HSES Department based Oyu Tolgoi Site with 14 days on and 14 days off.
The purpose of this position is to effectively provide firefighting and rescue activities at Oyu tolgoi mine site and local community
What the role entails:
- Adhere to company safety policies, standards, and procedures.
- Operate firetrucks effectively and safely during firefighting and rescue activities, training exercises, and daily operations.
- Ensure the readiness of firetrucks, including tools, equipment, agents, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in the maintenance of firetrucks, tools, and equipment.
- Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of the site facilities, roads, routes, hydrants, emergency responses water supply systems, static water sources and target hazards within the response area of the fire station
What you will need for this role
- Minimum 5 years of experience in firefighting and rescue service
- Must have experience operating a firetruck
- Previous experience in the mining sector (preferred)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- B, C class driving license required
