The opportunity

We are looking for one (1) Officer Price File, Procurement – Service Delivery department based in Ulaanbaatar. This is one year fixed term role.

The purpose of this role is to provide services and support on OT Procurement automated purchasing function, and supporting Procurement performance.

What the role entails

  • Set the highest priority on safety culture and business integrity for yourself and colleagues;
  • Creation and daily management of outline agreements using SAP system;
  • Coordinating and processing open Purchase requisition’s via Request for quotation with Original equipment manufacturer purchasing groups on daily basis.
  • Coordinate with respective teams for items that are obsolete or part number updates and request changes on the system;
  • Daily communication with Original equipment manufacturer and contracted suppliers regarding post purchase order management.
  • Make sure procurement activities are in compliance with OT (Oyu Tolgoi) policies and procedures.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting and automated purchasing activities on scheduled and ad hoc basis.
  • Interact with systems SAP(/RTBS (Rio Tinto business solution), MS Office application to prepare reports when it is required;
  • Support team members on any other work, projects and activities;
  • Take ownership in price file related procurement projects and support in project change management.

What you will need for this role

  • Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.
  • Procurement or Accounting or Finance or relevant discipline.
  • At least 3 years relevant experience, or otherwise the significant practical experience and on the job training.
  • Will be advantage if experience of SAP system
  • Developed English language verbal and written skills will be well regarded
