The opportunity
We are looking for one (1) Officer Improvement in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Business Improvement & Coaching department based in Ulaanbaatar.
The purpose of this role is to provide administration, communication, and document control support to the Business Transformation & Improvement leadership team and function to assist them in delivering their work.It is also envisaged that this is a development role for a capable professional that is seeking to gain further experience in problem solving, facilitation, and change management processes.
What the role entails
- Organizing and coordinating travel and visas for the team, visitors, or consultants
- Managing purchase orders and invoicing for all external services within the team
- Organizing and coordinating team meetings and events, including supporting large facilitation events like BFPs, IGS, and Kaizens
- Leading small improvement projects within the team
- Building and maintaining libraries, tools, and key and confidential information within the team
- Understanding of the department functions and being able to prepare and apply key messages and deliverables in information sharing and communication through the relevant channel
- Maintaining a project and event calendar and delivering communications within assigned deadlines
- Playing a key role in how department information is developed and distributed to employees and stakeholders
- Maintaining the department’s internal portal, shared points, and shared drives & update them as required
- Assisting in reviewing & updating department documents and their controls and version levels
- Provide support and backup team members as needed in organizing, leading, and following up on actions from improvement pipeline meetings.
- Follow up with initiative owners of improvement pipeline to gather updates on project status updates and support the successful delivery of the improvement pipeline.
What you will need for this role
- Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.
- Finance, Business, Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in improvement, analytical, document control, communication & change management
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work with people from different context and background.
