The opportunity
We are looking for one ( 1) Officer Condition Monitoring in Oyu Tolgoi Underground Mobile Maintenance Department based at Oyu Tolgoi mine site with roster of 14 days on and 14 days off.
The Condition Monitoring Officer analyzes condition monitoring data from various sources (oil samples, gas emissions, NDT reports etc.) in order to formulate recommended actions to ensure continued safe, reliable and cost effective mobile asset performance.
What the role entails
- Analyzing mobile equipment condition monitoring data from various sources (oil samples, gas emissions, NDT reports etc.)
- Providing recommended actions to the execution team to ensure continued safe, reliable and cost effective mobile asset performance.
- Writing reports and memoranda as required to communicate findings from the all areas sources (oil samples, gas emissions, NDT reports etc.) data analyses.
- Raising notifications for repair and investigative actions in the CMMS (SAP).
- Performing visits to the field/workshop to verify and investigate complex issues where required.
- Championing best practice hydrocarbon contamination control strategies and oil sampling techniques to maintain data integrity.
What you will need for this role
- Maintenance, Engineering or experience trade qualifications in relevant experience typically achieved through vocational trainings and equivalent practical experience or on-the-job training\
- Able to carry out condition monitoring tools and operate properly and carefully.
- Able to carry out administrative functions commensurate with the role.
- To have personally demonstrate a positive attitude towards working safely.
- Oil Analysis qualifications at ICML MLA Level II or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
