The opportunity
We are looking for One (1) Manager Mobile Maintenance in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Underground Mine Operations- Mobile Maintenance department based Oyu Tolgoi Site with 3.5 days on 3.5 days off.
The purpose of this role is to be a strategic leader of a team of Maintenance Superintendents / Supervisors and multi discipline asset management professionals to deliver and execute on the Asset Management plan for our UG mobile equipment assets. Maintain the complete life cycle of assets by acquiring assets, assisting to commission assets, managing operations, maintaining assets (regulatory compliance), and disposal of assets.
What the role entails:
- Ensure safe reliable maintenance is executed on the UG HME assets.
- Life cycle management of OT UG Mobile assets.
- Manages Mobile Technology and Automation. Ensure functional safety compliance.
- Responsible for Asset Management of all Load and Haul, Drilling, Support, Service and Ancillary equipment.
- Manages OEM Service contracts. Conducts work unit training, safety compliance and departmental scheduling and productivity.
- Develops and manages the maintenance ZBB, WFP and operating plan that minimizes cost while achieving goals for availability, reliability and capital plans.
- Defines staffing needs, selection/assessment criteria, and development needs.
- Collaborates closely with other functions in the performance of duties.
What you will need for this role
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent or higher qualification obtained through degree or diploma programs from accredited colleges or universities.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, primarily supported by university-level education.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
