The opportunity
We are looking for two (2) Engineer Reliability in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Underground Fixed Plant Maintenance Department based Oyu Tolgoi Site with 14 days on and 14 days off.
The purpose of this role is to Maintenance function to ensure the optimization and reliability of assets, conducting analysis of reliability problems investigating to determine the reliability required for the particular situation considering the cost limitations for equipment up/down time, repair/replacement costs, weight, size, and availability of materials/equipment.
What the role entails:
- Supports to document and generate reports and drawings for equipment upgrades and changes and communicate as appropriate
- Attends or implements for technical modifications to equipment / components (requiring engineering assistance)
- Performs machine condition and performance assessments
- Provides engineering assistance for procurement of new equipment / components
- Create / ensure refurbishment standards for repairable items are correct under reviewved by Senior Engineer
- Supports the evaluation of suppliers and vendors
- Provides project engineering support for maintenance shutdowns and turnarounds
- Lead defect elimination process within the department for identify defect and implement its solution.
- Continuesly improve own knowledge and experience by attending DE process.
- Develop KPIs for defect elimination process and follow up
- Conduct analysis for improving the asset life cycle under guidance by Senior engineer.
- Supports for development of asset and system tactics (provide functional criteria and specifications) by providing accurate impormation and improve own skill and experience to be SME.
- Development of packaging of standard jobs / task lists (provide functional criteria and specifications)
What you will need for this role
- Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline is preferable Undergraduate, or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.
- Minimum 3 years working in a mining maintenance and/or reliability role
- Ability to work in the SAP system and perform maintenance history data analysis to support the failure analysis process.
- Intermediate computer skills including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Office suite
- Ability to facilitate the meeting.
- Good communication skills in both Mongolian and English
- Ability to work in team
