The opportunity
We are looking for One (1) Engineer Maintenance Engineering in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Underground Fixed Plant Maintenance Department based Oyu Tolgoi Site with 14 days on and 14 days off.
The purpose of this role is to Provides support to the maintenance function, conducting analysis of maintenance requirements, implementing engineering solutions and establishing sustainable maintenance practices.
What the role entails:
- Assists in developing a safety culture whilst ensuring that all work undertaken in areas of responsibility comply with existing safety legislation and is in full compliance with applicable HSE standards.
- Performs to document and generate reports and drawings for equipment upgrades and changes and communicate as appropriate
- Provides engineering assistance for procurement of new equipment / components
- Create / ensure refurbishment standards for repairable items are correct under reviewved by Senior Engineer
- To identify the cause of equipment problems by using the RCA method and implement optimal corrective action to eliminate the equipment problem in terms of the defect elimination program.
- Conducts analysis for improving the asset life cycle.
- Develops and review the asset and system tactics (provide functional criteria and specifications) by using accurate information
- Development of the standard work procedure for the task of major maintenance with engineering involvement (provide functional criteria and specifications).
- To gather better knowledge and experiences by working on data analysis, undesirable events that arise are addressed
- Conducts asset health studies and improve own skill and experiences
- Assists to conduct / review failure analysis of failed components correlating with CM data (oil analysis results, etc.)
What you will need for this role
- Maintenance Engineers or relevant qualification is preferable. Bachelor in engineering or equivalent education obtained through degrees, certificates or diplomas from colleges or universities
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and following prescribed safe work practices.
- Leadership, project experience, good verbal and written communication, adaptability, accountability, computer literacy, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in the SAP system and perform maintenance history data analysis to support the failure analysis process.
- Ability to facilitate the meeting.
- Ability to work in team
- Good communication skills in both Mongolian and English
