The opportunity
We are looking for One (1) Engineer Asset Health in Oyu Tolgoi LLC, Surface operations – Mine Operations department based at Oyu Tolgoi mine with the roster of 14 days on and 14 days off.
Purpose of the role is to sustain safety, operator competency and productivity by identifying and addressing operating condition and practices compromising safe and reliable operation of assets where possible also, support the Management team in making the right decision by analyzing data of the Mining operations department.
What the role entails
- Manage sustained operation of asset health on-board systems over their lifecycle.
- Manage deployment of new asset health on-board system, upgrade or improvement of existing systems and their application.
- Maintain settings, functions and configurations of application of asset health on-board systems.
- Define and review critical alarms and events relevant to asset health periodically and ensure those are aligned with business needs.
- Monitor and enforce the use of system functions in responding to critical alarms and events relevant to asset health.
- Populate critical alarms and events report(s) to monitor asset health related concerns.
- Review and assess asset integrity and asset health risks periodically and identify key areas of focus for safe and reliable operation of assets.
- Define and review metrices to support asset integrity and asset health risk mitigation.
- Develop and maintain metrices to support asset integrity and asset health risk mitigation leveraging asset health on-board system(s) and asset data from external sources.
- Manage and sustain Operate for Reliability Process.
- Review and sustain integrity of systems raw and processed data applied for Operate for Reliability Process.
- Participate and contribute to Defect Elimination Process as required to address operating condition and practices compromising safe and reliable operation of assets.
- Develop and maintain all relevant documentations related to asset health on-board systems, Operate for Reliability Process, Defect Elimination Process and other impacted processes within business.
- Collaborate with operations leaders, maintenance engineers, reliability engineers, trainers, OEM and system(s) vendor(s) to ensure relevant processes are sustained and effective.
- Identify gaps or improvement opportunities relevant to systems, processes, data management and practices and deliver initiatives as required.
- Support to basic problem of wireless
- Develop and update regulations of maintenance, scheme, and relevant documents
- Establish and maintain effective and sustainable relationships with all relevant parties.
- Ensure production and operational data structure is designed, developed and implemented in a way that is aligned with business needs and compliant with relevant requirements.
What you will need for this role
- Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.
- Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analysis/Engineering background is required.
- Minimum 3-year experience mining technology delivery, mobile equipment maintenance engineering, data analytics and data engineering.
- An ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Develop an awareness of your values, strengths, and development areas through feedback and reflection.
