The opportunity

We are looking for one ( 1) Controller Inventory in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Procurement department based at Ulaanbaatar.

The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the inventory management functions for all Oyu Tolgoi LLC site mine operations.

What the role entails

  • Compliance with OT LLC’s safety policies and procedures
  • Management of the daily inventory operational needs for all site based operations
  • Execution of transactional stock management decisions
  • Development of strong business relationships between Operations, Maintenance, Finance and Procurement
  • functional areas
  • Support alignment with major shut down requirements
  • Support the introduction of new site equipment and associated spare parts
  • Support equipment decommissioning and asset disposal of obsolete stock
  • Manage the ERP system and MRO inventory optimization software for all inventory control transactions,
  • preparation and reporting of selected monthly KPI’s
  • Continuous Improvement including the development and implementation of site specific improvement
  • methodologies, and
  • Leading project teams and executing a plan to achieve deliverables committed to is a critical requirement and expectation of the role.

What you will need for this role

  • Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college
  • or universities
  • Logistics, Procurement, Warehousing and Business Administration or relevant discipline are preferable
  • At least 3 years relevant experience, or otherwise the significant practical experience and on the job training
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP Systems, and SAP
  • Advanced English and Mongolian written and verbal communication skills
  • Good communication skills
