The opportunity
We are looking for One (1) Controller Document in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Underground EL & HL Construction Department based Oyu Tolgoi Site with 14 days on and 14 days off. This role is 6-months fixed term contract
The purpose of this role is to receive handover of all construction, equipment, and engineering documentations, SWP during transition from the Construction phase to Operations in accordance with Oyu Tolgoi LLC standard and requirements, so as to disseminate factual information to other departments, keep document control registers and integrate relevant file database by DMS. Being responsible for DCS operation, developing their manuals and training materials, and for providing other engineering documentation teams with accurate engineering drawings, documents, and associated files. To control SWP’s and provide its support services in accordance with Company’s policy and procedure.
What the role entails:
- Communicates effectively with the project team, suppliers, & stakeholders.
- Processes Engineering and Contracts & Procurement documentation & other department-controlled documents
- Quality checks project documents in compliance with project requirements.
- Administers the DM&C System & produces document management reports as directed.
- Processes transmitting information between Contractors & CLIENT.
- Comply with project DC processes & procedures to ensure accurate records of all Project documentation generated by the project or its vendors.
- Accurately & constantly maintains the metadata of project documents, such as, but not limited to, document number, title, revision, status, etc. in accordance with Project Numbering Procedures.
- Ensuring all documentation complies to OTLLC numbering and revision procedures.
- Support engineering and construction team to close and work on the MOC system and collaborate with project and operation
What you will need for this role
- Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from an academic college or university.
- Must have proficiency with English as it is the primary communication used in the project.
- Developed software skills and previous experience with document handling.
- MS Office skills and experience with Excel and Word.
- Leadership skills and developed communication skills with good attitude to interface with project team and external vendors and other stakeholders
