The opportunity
We are looking for one (1) Analyst Asset System Development in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Operational Readiness based Ulaanbaatar Office with 5 days on and 2 days off. This role is 1-years fixed term contract.
The role is a multi-disciplined requiring strong knowledge and skills with SAP master data, maintenance planning, asset strategy and tactic development using reliability-based methodology, identification and management of asset life cycle spares and support in the development of the required Standard Work Procedures.
What the role entails
- Primarily, the Analyst Asset System Development will be responsible for:
- Develop, recommend, and implement maintenance strategies to support the reliability of existing and Phase 2 assets.
- Participate, Facilitate and conduct reliability studies and reliability block modelling for Phase 2 critical assets using approved reliability tools and methods.
- Support Life Cycle Cost Analysis for new assets.
- Actively lead in the development of the Asset Tactics used in the preventive maintenance (PMO) and condition monitoring programs. Develop Standard Work Procedures (SWP) for critical plants, areas or operations as part of the PMO.
- Identify all spares required to support the asset life of mine
- Provide assistance in critical spares requirements.
- Working collaboratively with project and OT LLC staff to ensure timely delivery of the RTBS as per agreed project milestones.
- Provide necessary support to implement programs in collaboration with external and internal stakeholders, including vendor organizations, end-users, project team and external training providers.
- Provide logistical and organizational support for equipment vendor training program, including but not exclusive to scheduling, tracking, delivery and coordination between various stakeholders.
- Asset management strategy and systems that align with the long-term asset management direction.
- Safe Working Procedures for equipment, systems procedures and supporting documentation and associated information for systems training
- Provide leadership to BU asset management peers and practitioners on OT Asset Management RTBS standards through active support and identification of opportunities for maintenance practices improvement.
- Collaborate with BU Asset Management professionals to identify leading practice and improvement opportunities
- The successful candidate will also be required to undertake the following tasks for their area:
- Development of best practices and tools for execution and management
- Tracking of progress against defined criteria and milestones
- Work with the functional and operational teams to create or refine deliverables
- Liaise with stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Build, develop, and grow relationships vital to the success of the project
- Ensure documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
What you will need for this role
- Bachelor or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical fields are preferred)
- At least 3 years relevant experience, or otherwise the significant practical experience and on the job training. Strong background in the material management function within the business solution (SAP) and qualfication / experience with supply chain management or procurement or relevant discipline is preferred.]
- Intermediate computer skills including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Office suite
- Ability to work in team
