The opportunity
We are looking for 6 (six) Accountant Payroll in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Finance and Commercial Department based Ulaanbaatar Office with 5 days on and 2 days off.
The purpose of this role is to provide services and support on payroll services activities of the functional area in line with the company policies and procedures to achieve the team’s objectives and targeted plan.
What the role entails:
- Processing and reconciliation of payroll ensuring confidential, accurate and timely processing.
- Ensure that social insurance benefits reports timely submitted (medical and maternity lists and other insurance fund reports)
- Ensures payroll related GL accounting report deadlines are met.
- Provides a high level of customer service to employees including comprehensive and precise explanations on queries related to payroll calculations.
- Prepares data for statutory audits and assist with Auditor queries.
- Supports investigation and resolution of escalated payroll issues or queries.
- Maintain a focus on continuous improvement to identify and implement improvement opportunities in payroll processes.
- Ensure that payroll deadlines are met – local payroll, IA allowance, trainee stipend and other payroll area’s payroll (offcycle payment process etc.)
- Complete all costing requirements including back charging salary costs where appropriate ( court order , claims)
- Focus on the document’s confidiantiality with follow archive rule
- Participate in LEAN metrics and monthly reporting.
What you will need for this role
- Bachelor or higher degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a relevant discipline.
- At least 5 years relevant experience, or otherwise the significant practical experience and on the job training.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong ability in Microsoft Office programs with an ability to produce high-quality documents using (in particular) Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD.
