The opportunity
We are looking for one (1) Senior Planner Maintenance in Oyu Tolgoi LLC – Operations – Mine Maintenance Department based Oyu Tolgoi Site with 14 days on and 14 days off.
The purpose of this role is to provide services and support on maintenance activities of the organisational unit in line with the company policies and procedures to achieve the team’s objectives and targeted plan.
What the role entails:
- Support the CRM program within the Plans group & the business in general.
- Develops & manages the maintenance & operates plan that minimizes cost while achieves goals for availability & reliability.
- Ensures Total System Capacity has maximum utilization, with sufficient plans horizon to allow opportunity for continuous improvement or a step change.
- Monitor implemented plant register, task lists, bill of materials as part of the maintenance management system (SAP).
- Review and develop maintenance tactics and whole of life (WoL) strategies for assets.
- Long term planning up to 2-5 years to determine longer term views of upcoming outages and major works
- Liaise with key stakeholders and develop and maintain 2 year maintenance plans, including shutdown schedules and asset replacement strategies.
- ZBB budgeting preparation year to year, quarter to quarter – lead the process to ensure we’re well prepared for the run next year and so forth.
- Once it is down to 2 years, hand over process to happen Monthly / Quarterly basis with Shutdown Planning team as indicated
- Process of resources planning with some added strategic discussions and plans
What you will need for this role
- Secondary or equivalent education obtained through degrees, certificates or diplomas from academic or vocational high school trainings.
- Maintenance Engineering or relevant discipline is preferable.
- Relevant experience typically achieved through vocational trainings and equivalent practical experience or on-the-job training.
- Experience with Mobile equipment maintenance planning
- 3 year experience in Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as SAP
- Intermediate English language verbal and written skills
- Intermediate computer skills including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Office suite
- Experience in a complex fast-paced environment, positive attitude and willingness to take on challenges
- Logical thinking with creative problem-solving ability
